"One way or another," I say to my wife, "all bleeding stops eventually."

"I'm not sure you appreciate how much blood is actually in the human body," she replies.
Don’t offer a solution, just let her vent.

Yeah, Democrats tried the "there is no crisis" argument and it blew up in their faces. The busing wS one of the most successful political stunts I've ever seen.
this only works if blue cities and states handled a fraction of the migrants when migrants were bussed to these cities. The moment they started coming to these cities public services crippled they wanted to put migrants on polluted land and cash in on millions
Hi I would like everyone to please absorb the lesson that echoing & amplifying GOP framing of *any issue* will always fail voters, policymakers, and progressives. Take the “border crisis”—there hasn’t been anything near a crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border since 1916. It’s a racist dog whistle.

Insurance companies are the tell. Vaccines save them billions.

It's actually kinda funny that RFK Jr made a big thing out of pulling vaccine recommendations for most people under 65 and insurance companies, pharmacies, and medical clinics all just kinda said "LOL Whatever".

It's enough to melt my FDA-skeptical heart.

House prices fell in GWB’s second term and I think there’s a decent chance they fall in Trump’s second term too.

@choochoobear.bsky.social Sorry if you've been asked this a million times, but I looked around for information and couldn't find it.

The FTC allowing Google to buy Waze is a mystery to me. I'm in general dovish on antitrust but this seems like a no-brainer.
