Thanksgiving was very good! Was able to attend a dinner in our apartment complex. I have no family in town so it was really great being able to hang out with others. Shoutout to the family putting it on - they were so welcoming.

I HATE it when my family argues about politics at Thanksgiving. All the Imperial Cult loyalists are slandering the Mechanicus adherents working the kitchen, pausing only to denigrate my brother's psyker fianceé (all that work to get sanctioned, for what?!). I HATE it when my family argues about politics at Thanksgiving. The Eel-Ariash side are fighting with the Molari-Sor branch over Moonboats while my short little cousin tells stories about running a military district in some Rufelza-forsaken chapparal and dad's bound spirit rattles the dishes.

Gonna do a Bluesky: National Guard aren't law enforcement, even if that's the nominal language justifying their deployment, and we shouldn't treat it as normal. "Violence against servicemembers" is completely acceptable to say here.
I’m horrified by the shooting of our National Guardsmen in Washington D.C. today. Violence against law enforcement is never acceptable and must be condemned. I am holding the victims and their loved ones in my heart tonight.
