I lead a small govt organization at the intersection of water resources, climate resilience, and urban planning. Using nature based solutions to protect water resources and build resilience. Administrator at RPBCWD. Views expressed are exclusively mine.
Well, the regressive policies march on for this admin. RAISE grants turned back to BUILD grants. Eliminated criteria - 1. walkability, 2. Electrification 3. Union engagement. Maybe I do agree with the premise that agencies have too much autonomy. 😮‍💨

Systems thinking should be inherent in transportation system planning... but alas.

Jimmy Carter was a gift America didn't deserve. The lessons he taught fell on too many deaf ears. If you want to know what it means to follow the teachings of Christ, look at how that man lived. RIP Jimmy Earl

Would it be worth it for all of us to get on 🐦 and just follow one feed - Musk - with the sole purpose of gaslighting him? 🤷 I got off of 🐦 way back when he bought it but I'm would if it's part of millions with the sole purpose of calling him out on his hypocrisy and BS. A kid can dream.

Never accept this as normal and don't let Fetterman and the other Dems reaching out to Trump try and normalize it. He is unfit for office. §3 of 14th Ammendment
For those keeping score, Trump should’ve been prosecuted by DOJ in 2017 for his crimes with Russia to become president in 2016, convicted by the Senate in Impeachment #1 for extorting Zelensky and in Impeachment #2 for trying to overturn the 2020 election, and prosecuted sooner by Garland’s DOJ.

Jeff Speck, Charles Montgomery, et al have written on this ... nice to see some finally leveraging this.
Seattle has figured out the incredibly simple recipe for growing transit ridership: run frequent, reliable transit service to the places people want to go.
Seattle's Sound Transit light rail system carried 106,000 riders on the average weekday in October, reaching a monthly record of more than 3 million trips www.soundtransit.org/ride-with-us...

Ridership has been powered by extensions to Northgate (2021), Lynnwood (2024) & Bellevue (2024).
