Hey All: Google is pulling the "automatically on for anyone over 18" bullshit with Gemini that the Dropbox did for its AI, but I can't afford to ditch Google Drive/Docs/Workspace.

If you have a personal Google Account, first go to gemini.google.com/extensions and turn everything off...

I'm trans and have been a journalist for over two decades.

Absolutely do not ever, under any circumstances, for any reason talk to a journalist about DIY HRT.
I have the same advice today that I’ve had for years: never talk to a journalist about DIY HRT

Despite having an otherwise eventful weekend and only managing to complete the two easiest challs on x3c.tf, i'd still consider it a win for my first real ctf event <3

During #x3ctf, I discovered an unintended solution that turned out to be a pretty cool generic technique. It allows you to detect the result of a selector during CSS Injection, bypassing any CSP restricting external requests!

I do think it’s super important right now and in the foreseeable future to really value moments of joy and to be intentional about making as many of them as you can

The Internet Archive at large is a treasure in its own right, but it was after an evening of diving deep into their software emulation library that I finally kicked $50 their way for the first time last year.

It's one of the most remarkable historical resources on the Internet.
Few things more inspiring than the TRS-80 MC-10 software emulation library at @archive.org - over 800 programs, some rather recently written, trying to squeeze every glowing drop of potential fun and old-style computer joy out of a powerless computer system.

pro tip: most public access wifi hotspots will not actually send an email to the address you give them. you can just lie to it in a <loremipsum>@<foo>.<bar> type format and use ur vpn of choice

It sold it to a Czech billionaire instead.

We are being ripped off. It’s time to put Royal Mail back where it belongs: in public hands.
