I'll also say this outright: I remember people criticizing Code Geass and various modern Gundam shows for the politics being cartoonish, but...uh, real life sure is constantly proving that too many living political leaders and the ultra-wealthy can be both juvenile manchildren and cartoonishly evil.

It's kinda weird celebrating Thanksgiving knowing you are descended from the pilgrims and so the only reason I am here is because of atrocities committed against indigenous people. I found out about my family history recently but I think I'm gonna stop celebrating Thanksgiving

Just so everyone knows come January every single person working for the federal government will no longer have access to gender affirming care through their health insurance. It's not that the health providers have stopped offering it, it's because the Nazis hate trans people.

Regarding block lists for various right wing people and groups. I really like that these exist but worry about their use as it's possible for people who are not right wing to get added to these lists. So I guess just be careful using them so you don't prevent normal people from interacting with us
