Issa Rae has canceled her sold out performance at the Kennedy Center. Pulitzer Prize winner Rhiannon Giddens, Peter Wolf, Low Cut Connie, and the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, D.C., have also canceled. Lin-Manuel Miranda has canceled the entire Kennedy Center run of Hamilton.

If certain rights are not inalienable and can be taken away by a bigoted convicted felon, that’s a PROBLEM with the system. NOT a feature.

This is why I don’t trust the "Never Trump" Bulwark guys. They’re perfectly comfortable with real people being harmed, so long as the harm comes via a process they can label “liberal democracy.”

Spent the last week finding happiness in so many ways. Cooking dinner and exchanging gifts with my family of roomies, learning new music skills, celebrating our engagement with Gens parents and planning our future together…I’m genuinely very excited for what 2026 will bring. I’ll be a better me 🖤

Transition is bespoke to every trans person. I was out for 8 years before starting HRT. Thought I could be fluid “bigender” for a while. Then I was full time fem for 3 years before going on HRT. I couldn’t continue living without the physical effects of it. It was mandatory and life saving.
