Yes and I challenge the notion trans people have "increased" visibility compared to the 2000s or before. We've been a focus of fascination and mockery across the entire history of mass media and lots of people are plainly nostalgic for the pleasure they got from our public humiliation
The idea that pro-trans movements led to anti-trans sentiment is egregiously out of touch with reality. Increased LGBTQ representation led to historic shifts in public opinion toward the community. The aggressively bigoted and violent campaigns that lied about trans people are clearly responsible

except it is stereotyping when the concern of ‘irreversibility’ only applies to people changing their sex and not people being forced to not change their sex (puberty has higher regret rates than transitioning but no one talks about that because cis good and trans bad)

My docs changed when I turned 18 and turns out my old doc (at a queer specialty clinic) was underdosing me for 2 years and lying about it, even when I hesitantly (scared i would be taken off) raised health concerns i was experiencing. And i’m lucky when it comes to starting hrt young in the US.

regular PSA as always that when you doctor says "please do blood labs in the middle of the cycle" you should smile, nod, and then do labs at the end of the cycle. mid cycle data is completely useless and is actively harmful to your health for the levels that most endocrinologists mandate per WPATH.
