couple statements so my beliefs are clear:
- if you decide you’re trans, then you’re trans.
- neopronouns & xenogenders are hella cool.
- everyone should be able to get HRT if they want.
- you don’t need to medically transition or have dysphoria to be trans.
- liberation not assimilation.

i see no historical parallels with other times the greed of the ruling class has created the exact material conditions which pressure working class people into open revolution.
don’t you feel free, citizen? isn’t this liberty? surely austerity is a sustainable way to maintain a society.

The government they overthrew was the one which introduced everything that comes up when foreigners talk about how Australia is better. Since the coup, those things have been progressively disassembled. No government which will meaningfully preserve them is permitted to be elected

This makes my skin crawl to read. Just so deeply embarrassing out infuriating. Print this out and mail it to your reps. Read it to them on their voicemails. They all need to feel unimaginable shame until they finally grow the collective spine to - at the very least - call for new leadership.

This is what I want to start emphazising more to our "leaders" in the United States Congress.
These people think they have a hard time now? Wait till people start putting basic facts together and realize what an obscenely gigantic role they are playing in protecting insurrectionists.

And I will add, the longer they continue this stupid game, the more and more criminal exposure they have to providing aid/comfort to insurrectionists, an extremely serious charge.

oh and also non trans folks who've been chiming in: I get the impulse to share your stories in a show of solidarity and some of y'all have been alright on this but others are kind of diluting the point of 'this is a thing that happens almost universally to trans folks, specially transfems'

The psych wards are overfull with months (or years) waitlists and frequently turn out patients prematurely to clear beds for the next crisis. Sobering doesn't exist as a billable DX in Iowa, so the few facilities that offer it are hemorrhaging money to do so.

it'll keep on going that way until they do unfortunately.
2025 has just been the year of the centre giving way to the right. The liberals making an austerity budget in Canada, the Democrats giving up unprompted to massive healthcare cuts, Kier Starmer existing. Hopefully people can clue the fuck in on who these folks actually serve.

Hey so I'm seeing a lot of replies of this from gals who are like 'oh well I didn't have it THAT bad' and then, lo and behold, y'all describing your childhoods in ways that are BAD ACTUALLY! Gonna need you to consider that you've gotten used to downplaying how bad it was! It's a survival mechanism!

Related: I remember telling stories about my childhood to my therapist and her just staring at me through the Zoom call with a thousand yard look in her eyes and then just slowly shaking her head when I said I had a typical childhood

If you're a cis person reading through this thread and all the responses from the various transfems who've weighed in, then you should absolutely send some money to us. We're often denied employment, denied access to income, and scrape by on the verge of homelessness. Find a transfem and give them $

Communicating why a 50 year mortgage costs more, overall, than a 30 year mortgage should not be a hard task.
The problem is the average American is both functionally illiterate and innumerate, as a deliberate result of decades of the policies made by the very people pushing for 50 year mortgages.
