What the hell was that?
It is very on-brand for Star Wars that one if its most mediocre movies spawned one of the best shows of the streaming era.
i sincerely dislike the movie btw. i am not rage baiting.

FWIW my ranking would be:

1. TESB
2. ANH
3. ROTJ
4. TLJ
5. ROTS
6. TFA
7. Solo
8. Rogue One
9. TPM
10. TRoS
11. AOTC
This is perhaps the most reasonable ranking out there. I have a couple personal quibbles, but I would not think the person who put this together was smoking crack
haven’t seen ROS or Solo but this seems like a pretty ball-knowing list from Pritzker, particularly if he volunteered the name “Star Wars” rather than “A New Hope”

speaking as a virginia beach native if these kind of dudes are plotting against ICE then there is wide runway in public opinion for straight up abolishing the agency under a dem presidency
Kempsville High School assistant principal charged for threats against police, ICE
Virginia Beach assistant principal John Bennett and Mark Bennett charged for conspiring threats against police and ICE agents. Both are held without bond.

we are returning to the state in which the framers intended for the legislature, in which the lower chamber and the upper chamber absolutely despise one another
The House has voted unanimously to repeal the provisions in the shutdown package which allow GOP Senators to sue the federal government and get as much as $1 million in damages - because the feds looked at their phone records in the Jan. 6 investigation.

It’s fascinating that every problem I thought these movies were gonna have thanks to some of the decisions they made (splitting it into two parts, casting Ariana Grande, etc.) were completely absent in Part I and very present in Part II
Hmm.

It does not work for me the same way the first one did, and I can’t quite figure out why. Hard to tell if it’s just the Wicked Act II problem rearing its head or just bad decisions made in the adaptation process, but something doesn’t gel here.
Now seated for WICKED: FOR GOOD

The centrists long for the acid rain of their youth
If there’s no shale gas then there’s no shale gas, but I still think environmentalism is basically bad and politicians should focus more on material prosperity.

Running this playbook (which didn’t really work in LA or Chicago either) is such a gift to Mamdani who’s going to be able to do unifying anti-Trump stuff that’s overwhelmingly popular with New Yorkers

It does feel like this thing passing unanimously in both chambers is a strong sign that the spell is breaking.

There's lots of work left to do, and still lots of potential for fuckery, but no one thinks this guy is invincible anymore.

Capitol Hill has turned me into a cynical monster most days. But seeing how much these ladies pushed and forced the hand of the president of the United States is genuinely inspiring.
