I am a bit 😒 about the #StrangerThings Netflix “outage.” Coming on the heels of the Pluribus/Apple TV outage.

I feel like we’re starting to get into “21-minute standing ovation at Cannes” territory.

Seems better to force them to get to get 7 then to get 3

And now it's tied because of it
Remember: kicking to go up 6 is a great way to give opponent better field position and lose by 1.

Just saying, seeing these two emails back on your back in my email gives me all the TV’s Top 5 nostalgia vibes.
Glad I still get to hear from both of you. @thefienprint.bsky.social @snoodit.bsky.social

For those in the back row:
Cable is still around … it’s not like it disappeared overnight.
Even if you cut the cord, there are no government restrictions to going BACK to cable as you’ve realized streaming saves you NOTHING.
It’s easy. Just blame it on being old. Like me.
If only there were some way to get everything I want to watch in some kind of... bundle?
You will need YES, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, ESPN, Netflix, NBC/Peacock, FOX, and TBS to watch the Yankees next season.

Bless the Duffers for trying. Especially given how long the episodes are for that show lately, weekly would work so much better.

Pro tip: If you make episodes so freaking long that they take an entire week to watch individual episodes, even if you release them all at once, it still counts as a weekly release.

The Ken Burns American Revolution doc is very good. This is a good time to tell you you can watch all episodes on the PBS website right now if you become a supporting member. Public TV and public radio need your support now more than ever.

Good luck to their anthropology department.
If you have tenure at Texas A&M and aren't maliciously emailing the president a dozen times every day to ask if you can say this or you can say that, then what's the point in having tenure?

Yes, PLEASE, end the omnipresent Pause Episode, where 7 episodes’ worth of story magically becomes 8 because we spent an hour connecting dots in the past.

It was always going to be Dick Durbin, by the way. Chuck couldn’t vote this time but his longtime deputy absolutely could be the final vote.
It’s a shame that the plans are this easy to see through.

These new details from last summer's confrontation between Rob Manfred and Bryce Harper are absolutely insane.

MLB officials threatening players will "end up in a ditch" for disrespecting Manfred is outrageous behavior.
