I tried so hard, but I had to let a friendship go. She wouldn't tell me why she voted for Trump. Said she would, said she welcomed new information but never engaged with it. I can't force her to change. The only thing that will is when fascism comes for her, and this brings me no joy.

If we make it through this administration, the next one needs to dramatically focus on public education. Specifically, history and critical thinking. Or we will be in this spot again in 100 years, assuming we aren't extinct.
