So we’ve seen plain clothes, ice agents arrest grad students, a mayor and countless others. Are they doing it to scare us? Are they doing it to distract us? Or are they doing it because they want to make a case for the “abolish ice” movement?

Having now watched the footage and interview two of the members who were there, the amount of armed, masked federal agents surrounding three members of Congress and a mayor outside the ICE facility was totally unnecessary; the only possible reason for it was intentional escalation and intimidation.

There is a stronger link between childhood trauma & addiction, than there is between obesity & diabetes. Two thirds of addicts report being abused as children.
That means the war on drugs and mental wellness issues is a war on traumatised people that just need help.
