Republicans in Congress can’t be counted on to condemn their leader calling for the execution of their legislative colleagues.

They are a profoundly pathetic and anti-American group of cucks.

SNAP has existed for 60 years. Benefits have gone out every single month over those six decades, including during government shutdowns. Until now.

Make no mistake: The money is available to fund SNAP during this shutdown. Trump is making a choice to withhold it.

Don’t forget this.

I'd missed this: Democratic-endorsed candidates *swept* the 6 school board races in Mecklenburg County, one of North Carolina's largest counties (home to Charlotte).

This means there won't be a Republican on the board anymore; the sole GOP incumbent was ousted.

Agree 100%! And expand it to include dental, vision and mental health. Take money from the bloated military budget, tax the rich, and make corporations pay into it for each employee in their employ. But, it covers everyone and is not tied to employment at all.
You may not agree, but I think it’s time for Dems from coast to coast to run on Medicare for all.

We do NOT need health insurance companies at all.

Period.

They serve no valuable societal purpose other than to add cost to healthcare and drive people crazy.
