every trans person I've spoken to is feeling the Drag Down right now. not everybody has fallen into despair but we're all feeling it creeping in around the edges, doing our best to fight it. things are bad. if you know a trans person, look after them.

Lord, give us
the joy and peace
of knowing our
identity and value
in your eyes.
Keep us from the temptation
to seek our value
only in the eyes of others,
or in competition with others.
May we find peace in your love,
and share it with all,
especially those in need.

Inspire us, Lord,
in our appreciation
of all that blesses us,
and encourage us
in our sharing
of those blessings
with others;
may we sow
the seeds of your love
joyfully and liberally,
rejoicing always
in our capacity
to share generously
in the work
of your kingdom.

The government's welfare Bill is a cruel and disgusting attack on disabled people and their right to live in dignity.

MPs should ask themselves: did you become an MP so you could push thousands of disabled people into poverty?

You command us
and call us, Lord,
to celebrate the sacrament
of your body and blood,
to find our shared
communion with you,
that we may be
nourished and nurtured
in your risen life,
enabled to become what we eat;
your body in the world,
revealing your love to all.

I think I’m pretty stable. I made a couple of smallish mistakes, when I responded to unkind and very hurtful emails in the early days of my transitioning, but overall I’m pretty stable, happy, resilient, strong and courageous… and holding down a position of responsibility whilst transitioning…
"trans people are inherently unstable" nah dawg, being trans has actually made me way more stable than many cis people, because I had to do the hard and worthy internal work of knowing myself, when most cis people couldn't even look themselves in the eye if you held a mirror right up to their face.

It would be welcome to see one or two episcopal signatures added to this letter …
For anyone who hasn’t seen this yet, the letter is still open for additional signatories. ✝️

Was Keir Starmer lying through his teeth when he pledged to promote trans rights in 2020, or is he just a spineless coward pushed around by media bullies in 2025?

Keir Starmer is simply wrong in law. A trans woman with a Gender Recognition Certificate is considered a woman for the vast majority of legal purposes, as required by the ECHR. One would expect a former human rights lawyer to have a better grasp of legal detail.
Asked if Keir Starmer still believes that a trans woman is a woman, his spokesman replies "no".

How was Theresa fucking May more progressive than our current Labour Prime Minister? I mean, she was awful, but she supported trans rights and she didn’t screw disabled people over to the extent that Starmer is. That’s how low the bar is.

Disgusted by #Labour party. Not going to vote for them again, or donate, until they repent of their transphobia.
@bphillipsonmp.bsky.social I am horrified at how the #Labour party (of which I was a proud member for many years & now feel I *cannot* even vote for you again) has betrayed LGBT people so decisively. Here is an extract from the 2024 manifesto to see how far your party has fallen. This govt is lost.

of love, mercy and peace, Lord,
you spread out your arms

In the face of all that would
draw or drive us away,
renew our passion
to live in you.
