If there’s one thing you can say about the Germans in WWI, they knew how to do a damned awesome paint job on their planes.

So my hot take is that assuming everything the admin is telling us is true the Trump WH has pulled off a spectacular (albeit illegal) tactical coup in coop with some in Maduro’s circle, and it will now declare victory without clarifying in any way, including to itself, what the bigger strategy is.

There is, to my mind, no justification for the continued use by the UK Government of X as a platform for official comms. There hasn't been for some time, in fact, but if the latest developments around AI-generated image abuse and CSAM don't change the policy I really don't know what will.

An utterly disgraceful and shaming story. I hope the Dutch will commemorate these men, their service, and their stories elsewhere (as close to the cemetery as possible), but it's disgusting that the memorial has been removed from the most appropriate place for it.
1/ A memorial to African-American soldiers who fought to liberate the Netherlands in World War II was removed to comply with Trump Administration anti-DEI policies, according to newly released records, contradicting later claims about the reasons for the removal. ⬇️

Final #FestiveTankChallenge … I’ve gone about as far as I dare before I get hold of the missing parts from this Ryefield Models full interior Sherman. It’s a a stunning kit, sadly missing key parts. I suspect it will be ages before I return to it unless anyone can print the parts? #HistScaleModels
