We’re in scary times, but remember that the trans people immediately at most risk from the executive orders are those who were already being persecuted under Biden—prisoners, immigrants, full service sex workers etc. It’s okay to be afraid but keep your head in the game.

It’s a nice sentiment but also defining/restricting legal gender IS happening & affecting people’s lives wrt access to employment, transportation, etc. This isn’t new, but denying its reality is unproductive. The govt can’t decide ur sense of gender but legal designations do matter in the real world
Weird that we have to say this, but the government doesn’t get to decide what gender a person is.

Trump’s anti-trans Executive Order is bad BUT it technically defines everyone as female. It states:
“'Female' means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell."
Since all fetuses "at conception" are female, Trump just defined EVERYONE as female.
