The people who are actually not represented in the media are people with either no defined political ideology or an incoherent set of political beliefs and people who do not follow the news, and it just doesn’t really make sense to give those people jobs talking about the news
there’s this constant mythology about the elusive centrist voter who isn’t represented by the media but whenever they use examples of people not represented by the media it’s always people like alan dershowitz who are still represented in the media and almost exclusively so!

The teenager told officers he was a U.S. citizen, but an officer broke the car’s driver’s side window and detained him. In a video, the boy can be heard telling an officer that he is a citizen, to which the officer replies, “Get out of the car” and “I don’t care.”

The woman in this story asked for an abortion to protect her health during the first trimester. If not for Dobbs, that choice would have been hers. Instead, she got increasingly sick for another 2 months, and then died.
NEW:

In 2024, Tierra Walker was sick and getting sicker. She was also pregnant.

She knew abortion was illegal in Texas, but thought there was an exception for women like her, whose health was at risk. Doctors told her there was no emergency.

Then she died.

Via two ICE flights to Rwanda, two to Eswatini, three to Ghana and one to S. Sudan.

This is pretty fucking rich coming from a guy who recently engaged in something actually analogous to blood libel by concocting and propagating a lie that Haitian immigrants were killing and eating their neighbors’ pets
Here’s JD Vance accusing Democrats of “blood libel” against ICE agents.

Historically, blood libel referred to the false claim that Jews murdered Christians to use their blood in rituals.

Dangerous language on every level.
