So, so weary of businesses and major entities putting a “happy Pride!” message up on social media only to saunter away and let the comments turn into a festering swamp of bigots and it’s only June 3rd. If you’re not going to moderate your social media, then you’re not creating safe spaces for us.

The worst part about drafting a mystery is you inevitably get to a point where it feels like the ENTIRE BOOK hinges on one small decision about a detail and you just stare at the wall for an hour running through your entire plot as you try to make up your mind.

0/10 do not recommend having a limb fall on your house causing thousands of dollars of damage. We are all fine but it’s been two weeks and the insurance company only just TODAY returned my call. It’s the first time I’ve spoken to anyone employed by them since I filed the claim. 🙃

-change up formats (ie switch to longhand)
-write the scene from a different perspective
-skip ahead!
-brainstorm silly solutions
-take a walk
-read something you already wrote
-read something someone else wrote
