So, again, *Boeing* clearly has a lot of problems (they just paid a $2.5b criminal penalty!), but that is compatible with the (true) claims that (1) air travel in 2024 is about as safe as it has ever been, and (2) the safety/regulatory regime around commercial aviation is remarkably successful
