Sometimes I wonder if LMM knows how wrecked oldest sisters are every time they hear Surface Pressure.

I just need *one* episode of Bluey where Chili absolutely loses her shit and screams at Bluey and Bingo about making them late.

KEEP CALLING. PEEL OFF ALL DEM SENATORS YOU CAN.

☎️: (202) 224-3121

Tell them to vote NO on Cloture and NO on CR. Vote is pushed to after 1:15ish for now. Situation is fluid.

The only public YES votes are Schumer and Fetterman. They need 7-8 total. KEEP CALLING.

Call retiring Senators too!

🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave.

Tell them:
1. Vote NO on Cloture
AND
2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill.

Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it.

TODAY is the showdown.

Seems to me what we’re seeing across the federal government are the dividends being paid from years of adopting market language to talk about public goods. Run government like a business? Businesses exist to make profit. Government exists to serve the people. We’re about to see the difference now.

I admit it. I had to read the last page of The Reformatory with 150 pages left because I’m too emotionally attached to these characters and wondering about their fate was TOO STRESSFUL. @tananarivedue.bsky.social is a master of terror.

We Used to Live Here by Marcus Kliewer freaked me out so badly I made my partner search the house, box cutter in hand, to make sure there were no strangers hiding anywhere and if that’s not an endorsement, I don’t know what is. #BookSky
