I think more news literacy is needed. Part of it is the industry's fault. Many of us have done a bad job being clear how abusive and unusual Trump's admin is. At the same time, the public needs to understand the different between news and social media punditry. Not everything can be a take.

Here's what ppl don't get. In 2011, the Canadian & US dollars were at par & the US had a trade surplus. Since, it's gone to $1.43CAN = $1US making US goods 43% more for Maple Leafs. Trump pushed a stronger dollar his first term.
