It's important that people in Europe let their elected leaders know that they do NOT want to follow the US into the abyss of right wing fascism, NOR do they want to capitulate to the dictatorship of Russia, that the US currently aspires to.

Just now, a national trans healthcare felony ban for youth has passed the US House, with 10 year prison terms.
3 Dems crossed party lines to vote to jail providers.
4 GOP crossed party lines to vote against.
It is not expected to pass the Senate, where Dems hold filibuster power.

Studio Gainax is no more.

My headcannon is that there is a Japanese Ministry of Youth Culture that requires or boosts "positive" messages in media for kids.
Because some of these occur way too often to be a coincidence.

I was talking to a German friend about my time at Insomniac Games, and he was aghast at the hours and treatment I got there. He said that, in Germany, that would be completely illegal, and that it made him sad, because he really loved Ratchet & Clank as a kid, but the exploitation makes it bad.

I don't know how many people know *both* these albums well, but nothing better sums up my values as a barely-adult music fan/struggling artist in the early '80s than the fact that I had pirated both on either side of a C-90 cassette and nearly always listened to both albums back to back.

So, why do EU banks and governments participate with the US need to tax US citizens who live abroad by reporting their account information.
Other countries don't do that, do they?

So, I just determined the cost of selling product to the US. The exchange rate makes the cost of my 200€ product $230.
There is then a 15% tariff and a Merchandise Processing Fee of about $35 bringing the price to about $300.
Shipping is about 100€ or $115 at the current exchange rate.
$415 = 200€.
