Here in Berlin, there are brass plaques in the sidewalk to tell you where the Nazis took people, and where and when they ultimately died.

Never forget.

I have to say, the anime "Sanda" is really getting interesting!
The premise sounds *so* stupid, but the actual implementation is actually quite deep.

This is science fiction.
This is about growing up and getting old.
This is about gender issues and lesbianism!?

This is...
... amazingly good!

That time Amuro got depressed and dozed off while (evidently) trying to debug or redesign the video overlay circuitry for his Gundam using the AY-3-8115 Color Processor Chip from General Instruments. He's very confused... it's only an 18 pin part, and yet he's designed as if it has 2 pin 20s...

I'd like to encourage people to pay attention to what I call "small history": the extraordinary things that happened to ordinary people + at ordinary places during historically significant times.
European neighborhoods have some of it documented on buildings and plaques, if you are paying attention.

I little excerpt from the Synth Jam Session I run at X-Hain hack+make space.
It can be incredibly chaotic, with maybe up to 10 people all playing different styles at once, but occasionally we sound really good!

I've been busy for days with the Hackaday Berlin event. Even tho I wasn't scheduled to speak, I was preparing a fix for the Vectorscope Synth project from last year's workshop, which didn't actually work.
I didn't take any pictures for some reason, but here is one Erik took of me presenting the fix.

Segfault and I finally fixed the Hackaday Berlin Vectorscope synthesizer add on.
I'm going to ask Hackaday/Supplyframe about supplying parts for an update to those that did the workshop and went home disappointed.

Went to the SC3 videogames event tonight for the last time. I was successfully able to give away some retro game stuff and random fan crap.
I won a few games in their raffle to play at a far future date.
It was nice to go, but I feel like I don't fit in there any more.
Any transfem into retro VG?

I just found an old "award" from a company team building exercise back at Insomniac Games, 20 years ago.
Evidently I was "most unique", maybe because I was an egg and going through some very messy mental changes at the time.
The 13-20 hour days didn't help with that...

Every time I hear "AT Protocol", I think "AT Field" from Neon Genesis Evangelion.
It makes those discussions very strange, especially since AT in that case stands for "Absolute Terror"...

I'm transitioning... To Germany!
Won't you help me rid myself of my junk?
I have permission to set up a table of junk for people to use for badge hacking at Supercon next month.
This is great, because I need to clear out stuff so that I can move, and I'd like my junk to go to good use.
It's so big!

I have like one tiny errand to do it, and a ton of stuff at home, but for some reason I spent over an hour doing "light makeup" on my face...

Trannies:
Quoteskeet with the first photo you saw yourself in.

I grew my hair out after HS, but could never get a pro (girly) haircut I liked, so I stopped cutting it.
Mostly, that was a frizzy mess, but this day the humidity made my hair behave for a single, shining moment.

Ah, youth. The 80's.
