The irony of ICE detaining and disappearing the original Americans should stop everyone cold.

As a Lakota proverb says, when you discover you’re riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to dismount. This system isn’t broken. It’s dead.

As Trump attempts to blow up NATO, let's remember that Mike Johnson runs the House and John Thune runs the Senate. If they tried to stop Trump, they'd be doing their job. Instead they're letting Trump destroy the world order. They're betraying us all.

Well I spoke too soon! The Guinea-Bissau study is still going forward, though currently without approval from a US or European ethical board. Still withholding vaccines from newborns. Keep the pressure up, all the ethical people -- we don't need to do another Tuskegee experiment!! 🤬

Despite Trump’s promises, grocery prices are still rising fast. Families can’t afford this… when is he going to get serious about lowering costs?

I am not exaggerating when I say ICE functions as a terrorist organization in the Twin Cities. The goal seems to be to harass and frighten people (the ones who are lucky enough to not be abducted, at least) and it's deeply unsettling when you learn they're in your neighborhood.

All it would take is for a bunch of these CEOs to confront Trump in front of the world and tell him he's unfit to run a hot-dog stand, and his presidency would be over. Seriously.

But none of them has the balls to do it.

This is one of the wildest moments in all of geopolitics ever.

Minneapolis and Saint Paul have basically mobilized into a war economy of mutual aid and non-violent defense. I’ve never seen anything like it, even during Covid. People who barely vote are guarding their schools from ICE and doing the shopping for neighbors in hiding.
This is so smart. I’m so impressed with all the different ways you’re helping your neighbors.

There are so many moments right now that demonstrate how far through the looking glass we are — and yet the GOP can’t find the courage to stop the Mad King.

This will result in a global catastrophe if Trump continues.
It’s come to this: “Catholic members of the US armed forces could in good conscience consider disobeying orders to attack Greenland if such orders were issued, according to Archbishop Timothy Broglio, the bishop responsible for the pastoral care of US military personnel.”
