We're trying things. Protests. Calling elected officials. Town halls. Mutual aid. Lawsuits. Boycotts. The important thing is that we don't give up. It may seem exhausting and sometimes it seems pointless, but a better world is worth trying things for, even if they don't have a 100% success rate.

I know everyone is busy and crazy and the world is falling apart at the seams but if you are in a place where you can reach out to a friend and find a time get together in person for coffee or a walk or whatever, I really really really REALLY encourage you to do that

This is a lesson to remember 👏🏼
When I was 25 I was sad I had not written The Great American Novel. At 55, I realize there's no Great American Novel, there are merely the stories I'm the best person to tell. Don't worry about how others see greatness. Work on being the best version of who you are and what you can do in the world.
