While I agree that the democrats should all stop voting for any and all Republican picks, it would unfortunately be a mostly symbolic gesture. The difference between the Republicans and Democrats is that the Republicans all fall in line for each other when push comes to shove, while (1/2)
my outsider perspective on US politics is that it seems like i spend 4 years getting told the democrats can't do the thing because they need just one more vote, and then the republicans get in and can do whatever they want because half of the democrats vote with them

I mean for what it's worth, I'm cis and I found the film to be incredible powerful and well worth my time. Easily in my top 5 movies I saw last year!
In all fairness I think that TV Glow is probably very unpalatable to people that are not trans
