This is a vg point that exposes a brittleness in govt comms. Willing to go into battle to defend a policy position that began life under a Tory govt, unable to swing into action to defend democracy against fascistic troublemaking.
Given a frontbencher was willing to directly link Farage to Jimmy Saville (!) over the Online Safety Act, you'd think there'd be someone who is not on holiday to say "Farage wants to use your money to pay the Taliban to torture people who helped us in our war" or something along those lines.

Last night there was again a huge police presence needed in Hoylake as wannabe rioters showed up. Have a listen their "legitimate concerns" - sink the boats, send them to Yorkshire(?), accusing anti-racists of starting the Southport riot
