Overshooting 1.5°C wasn't 'inevitable.'

We've been pushed by fossil fuel giants & governments that pander to them.

Every delay, every oil field, every broken promise made this crisis worse.

Keir Starmer, will you promise to leave Rosebank undeveloped?

This is a vg point that exposes a brittleness in govt comms. Willing to go into battle to defend a policy position that began life under a Tory govt, unable to swing into action to defend democracy against fascistic troublemaking.
Given a frontbencher was willing to directly link Farage to Jimmy Saville (!) over the Online Safety Act, you'd think there'd be someone who is not on holiday to say "Farage wants to use your money to pay the Taliban to torture people who helped us in our war" or something along those lines.

It's her job to explain to her constituents that they are sharing rooms with strangers in the arse end of nowhere in hotels that are only used for work conferences and seedy affairs, being a refugee isn't a holiday, what the fuck is the point of Labour
She deleted the post (pic attached) because of the pushback, but she has continued defending it and defending the fact that she won’t even try to disabuse her constituents of the stupid racist “myths” they spout. An absolutely pointless person

Come on @allymcgovern.bsky.social, this isn't about trying to win votes, will you speak out and join us to stand against the hatred and lies that the Tories and Reform are spreading across the Wirral? If not, why not?
We’re here outside the Kings Gap Hotel in Hoylake to counter some of the hatred that we can see on our streets.

Hi @allymcgovern.bsky.social, as my MP, and having voted to proscribe Palestine Action, can you explain to me why you think all of these people should be arrested?
When he was running to be Labour leader Keir Starmers campaign video boasted that he had stood up for protesters when the full force of the state was against them.

Today his govt is arresting a disabled blind man for holding a placard.

The definitely not far right protest at Hoylake tonight, sound tracked by songs called "Fuck Palestine" and about chemtrails and 5G.

I am so sick and tired of seeing MPs and the media shit themselves over refugees arriving in small boats over the channel.

If your initial reaction to seeing these boats is anything other than “those poor bastards, I hope they make it across” then you have failed as a human being.

Big thanks to Lewis for debunking the dangerous misinformation going around about nationality and sexual assault statistics. Bottom line - the big headlines over the last few days have no basis in the facts. Irresponsible reporting from major news outlets stirring up fear.
The Centre for Migration Control?

A “Think Tank” ran seemingly by one guy called Robert Bates, a Senior Reform Campaigner in the Channel 4 Documentary released last year ‘Undercover inside Reform’s campaign’.

His data is wrong and purposely misleading.

Couldn't get to the protest tonight but they arrested a guy with a conviction for racial abuse and a taste for neo-Nazi attire for supporting National Action, the group that plotted to murder a female MP.
