The last time New York had a decent mayor was Giuliani, over two decades ago. Say what you will about him (you younger people only know what's become of him after leaving office), but he really did clean up the city. He oversaw the removal of its two biggest eyesores.

If even 1/4 of people who were irritated by their colleagues & political peers talking about gaza too much in 2023/24 (while focusing heavily on some student speech) had this response it would make a real difference for our domestic reality & the long term future abroad.
