This is a massive grave injustice by judge Farbiarz. It essentially greenlights bureaucratic witch hunts where the government can target people based on their speech but use the pretense of a de minimis mistake on their immigration paperwork to deport them. He's willfully blind.
🚨Judge Farbiarz becomes the second judge since President Trump's sister in 1996 to rule that the law used to detain Mahmoud Khalil is likely unconstitutional. However, he says Mr. Khalil hasn't offered enough evidence at this time about unconstitutional targeting on the second ground of removal.
BREAKING: Judge Fabriaz denied Mahmoud Khalil's motion for a preliminary injunction, but found that the attempt to deport Khalil due to Secretary of State Rubio's determination that he negatively impacted U.S. foreign policy is likely unconstitutional.
