I’ve said it before, but I really think the only reason the US was on the side it was on in WW2 was as a hedged bet for the fascist movement. That way even if they lost it wouldn’t be over.

I can't stress enough how much Justice Jackson is on point here. If you can hide outright discrimination by saying it bans everyone from doing something, that's no different than the justification for the ban on interracial marriage.
