Social rebel, re: Slacker.
This is probably futile, but I thought I'd ask #cat bluesky. I recently brought this lovely lady cat into my home, but today at the vet I found out she's #FIV+, while my other two cats are not. I'm reading up, but I'd still like to hear about anyone's experiences.

All 50,000 panels of the National AIDS Memorial Quilt has been fully digitized.

You can search Duane's name and see the panel he made. And someone else made a panel for him, too.

"Reverse migration" might be one of the most terrifying phrases I've ever heard.

Among other things, the (nebulous but clearly unconstitutional) attack on naturalized US citizens contained in this screed is a significant escalation.
Trump: “I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries … denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility, and deport any Foreign National who is a public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western Civilization.“

American Movie is my reset button whenever I feel I don't have any drive or passion anymore, Mark Borchardt's singular ambition despite everything (including common sense) telling him to stop is infectious and never fails to set me back on track. Takes place on thanksgiving too so points for that
What movie are you most thankful for? (not necessarily your favorite!)

I know this is very "man" of me, but I wish that I had someone who could help me clean and organize my house. I obviously don't have the $$$ for this, but I have a half-finished office, empty bottom book shelves, art to put up, and organizational skills which can best be described as glacial.

Bad UI became the standard at some point, but it happened so gradually, I can't even nail down when.

Anyway, if I hear "it runs fine in Chrome" one more time, I'm going to [as I assume I now have to] book a clocktower on AirBNB.

In the 1950s psychiatrist Fredric Wertham's book Seduction of the Innocent incited a moral panic that nearly destroyed the US comics industry. Professor Carol Tilley, U of I, is the academic who went thru his papers and proved Wertham had faked most of his data. And Carol is a hilarious comics nerd!

But just in general, Hazbin Hotel tickles that part of me that read Squee and Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and the Crow in high school, and secretly wondered where that aesthetic had gone.

Anyway, that Alastor's soul belonged to Rosie was truly a delight of a payoff, and made me immensely happy looking back after wondering why he was so kind to her when he showed only disdain or disinterest towards the other overlords. And why she would want to help him conquer anything.

I love Hazbin Hotel by the way. Much like when I discovered Wynonna Earp, I have done zero research into the fandom or tried to join any of the places where the fandom gathers, because I am genuinely gunshy about all fandom related places.

Part of this is because I still have a pinky toe in the...

I know a lot is going on, but I would really appreciate a share. I'm still waiting on a check and I'm wrapping up the rest of my small gigs this week. If you need any art and you like what I do, please consider contacting me. I'd like to think my budget is reasonable, and I put out some good art
Hey, I'm going to be honest, I've had some rotten luck these last couple months. About three different projects got cancelled, so, if you need covers, pages, posters, album art, and you like my style, please consider hiring me.
