This is true. I love the Game Awards for almost everything that isn't the actual show. Don't get me wrong. Keighley is extremely good at being Keighly, and the show is always well produced. But, I like to see the things that land outside of the show itself, like flute guy.

I ended up going down a dead end path on my second timeline playthrough of Last Defense Academy, and i achieved five endings. It reminded me of why i love Kotaro Uchikoshi games. Gonna probably end up just spending the rest of the year playing only this to 100-percent it. It's pretty great.

I'm extremely interested in this. The past couple of historical Total War games have left a lot to be desired. But, I have very fond memories of Rome, Medieval 2, and Shogun 2. I guess now we'll see whether it's an issue with setting or the current team/ethos.

Growing up in the church, I was told AIDS was punishment for being gay. But, I later learned the truth. I attended ceremonies to remember those who lost their battle with AIDS, and I cannot tell you how fucking depressing it was to see all the lives lost because of ignorance and bigotry.
I know everybody on Bsky is nominally 38 but if you are lucky enough to be under 40 there's a good chance you don't know anyone who died, cruelly and needlessly, from AIDS. And that's GREAT. Let's not allow fucking idiots like RFK Jr to bring it back, huh?

Trying to decide how far I'm going to go in Last Defense Academy at this time. I've rolled credits on the first timeline, and I'm about 25-percent through the second. But 100 endings is a lot, even if a lot of them are variants. Most estimates online say around 200 hours to 100-percent.
