It's pretty sick that American taxpayers are funding their own rights violations and kidnappings instead of educating the population for a greater common good.

"First they fascinate the fools, then they muzzle the intelligent." Psh, who needs science when folly satisfies the ignorant?
I did much of my PhD work at the RTP location of EPA and the “scientific research arm” IS the EPA. I hope everyone likes mercury and lead.
Terrible Friday news dump. The wealth of expertise. The decades of scientific progress. The emerging and urgent challenges we were focused on tackling. It is all so short-sided and cruel. www.nytimes.com/2025/07/18/c...

All Senator Padilla wanted was to do his job and get the questions his constituents had answered — instead, he was thrown to the ground and handcuffed.

This is Donald Trump's America, where they attack our freedoms.

We cannot be intimidated or scared by their abuses of power.

Trump fears nonviolent protest.

He wants chaos so he can send ICE and the military after us.
Project 2025 planned this: provoke resistance, then call it insurrection.

STAY PEACEFUL. STAY DISCIPLINED. That’s how we win.

Yeah, who needs FEMA? (/sarcasm )There's no bottom to this cesspool of an administration.
This comes after several senior staff departures and just one day after Trump announced plans to dismantle the agency by November. Millions of Americans and dozens of states rely on it in times of crisis. But Trump doesn’t seem to think it’s needed. It’s looking like RIP FEMA.

Senator Padilla was forcibly removed from DHS Secretary Kristi Noem’s press conference in Los Angeles while attempting to ask a question.

Padilla was thrown down and handcuffed. A senator in his own state! (He has since been released.)

The Trump regime is out of control.

Watch the footage of the United States Senator being forcibly removed, then directed face down to get cuffed. For what? Trying to ask a question during Secretary Noem's presser. FFS.
Sen. Alex Padilla, who was just forcibly removed from a DHS press conference, is the ranking member of Judiciary’s subcommittee on immigration, citizenship, and border safety, which has “oversight of federal agencies with citizenship, asylum, refugee, and immigration enforcement responsibilities.”

Protect our right for a peaceful protest. Leave provocateurs standing. Violence and destruction plays into the hands of people who are taking our rights away. Don't give them that power. Quietly sitting down gives them nothing to work with, nothing to fight. *Peaceful protest is power.*

The assault on science continues as if they don't want any record of the progress that's been made, nor the methods and paths to potentially making cures a reality. I'm really having a hard time reconciling. My hope is these data are preserved somewhere.

A lot of people are wondering what they can do right now.

Nothing will solve our problems overnight. But here are just few ways we can all DO SOMETHING to fight back against the Trump Administration as they upend lives, threaten health care, and break the law. 🧵

Someone explain to me why it's illegal to give an old lady a bottle of water as she's waiting on line for hours in the sun to vote, but it's totally cool for an ultra-billionaire to bribe voters with million dollar checks in Wisconsin.

Censorship is treasonous. 1A is under assault, and the party that claims to not like big government being in your business SURE wants to tell you how to live your life.
Posting this censorship video on my activism @resistrebelrevolt.net got me reported by trolls as spam. 😵

It was shared 700x, with 150 comments showing appreciation to the constitutional lawyer who gave expert testimony on how conservatives were gaslighting us on free speech.

Proud of my neighbors across the border. Seeing is so few of our politicians are doing anything to stop this train wreck, it's a good thing that there are some judges with sound minds.

Elon Musk’s offer of checks from $100 to $1 million to Wisconsinites prior to Tuesday’s election faces a major legal challenge, as Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul seeks a restraining order barring Musk "from making any payments to Wisconsin electors to vote."
