Blocking people is good and fine and we do it all the time in real life. We just stop talking to people or going to those places or moving to a new town.

Only on the internet where analytics = money is blocking people suddenly a moral crime.

Calling them morons is fun too.
But block is better.

I just learned that Goodreads is owned by Jeff Bezos. An alternative is StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform (and yes it's really easy to transfer your lists from Goodreads to StoryGraph). You know, while we're moving things.
