The presidency is a side gig for Trump‘s grift.
"New disclosures posted Saturday...show that Trump’s purchases of at least $82 million include bonds from Netflix Inc., UnitedHealth Group Inc., Boeing Co., Meta Platforms Inc., Home Depot Inc., Broadcom Inc. and Intel Corp., of which the US government acquired a stake under his administration."

One reason I'm a fan of Linz is that I wrote a book about presidentialism, and ... in the end, he was right and I was wrong. (But I still think separated powers are better than parliamentary supremacy.)
Linz was right about the Perils of Presidentialism. The only thing he was wrong about was that 🇺🇸 had strong parties that would insulate us from them, unlike supposedly less politically developed countries.

Wilson, a militia member, remained in prison on a firearms conviction unrelated to the Capitol attack. But Trump's new pardon explicitly covers the gun charges. www.politico.com/news/2025/11...

1) End the drug war.
2) Oppose mass arrest and mass incarceration. Stop overpolicing vulnerable communities for crimes that are not mission-critical. Broken windows and Guiliani's claims are a fraud.
3) Demilitarize policing
4) Police the police and then...
5) Utilize the resources currently being..
