I only wish this could be our society (Sighs in American Fatigue)....
Today my 13 year old and two friends spontaneously traveled by train 40 kilometers to a town with a comic store they wanted to visit. They even switched trains on the way. I love that this is something a kid kan do safely and independently.
A parenting win.

I realize it's been 5 years but how is it no one remembers the early days of the covid pandemic and how scared we were? I was waiting for medical doctors and epidemiologists to do their thing and save us. I welcomed the vaccine after I almost died. Does no one remember how bad it was?!
