🏳️‍⚧️ Who is the most trusted party on trans rights?

To nobody's surprise, it's The Green Party with a net trust rating of +52 amongst trans people. No other party has a positive rating (not even the LDs).

watching the UKs green party elect an actual unafraid leftist into leadership and see party membership double in under a month is once again endless proof that if you stand up for leftist causes and treat the electorate like adults, you’ll win people over easily

Do you agree with Jeremy?
Do we need cooperation across the left?

You can have your say.

All Green policy is voted through by Green membership.
That means if you want to see cooperation happen, you can join the Greens and make it happen.

I get this question a lot. I don't have strong views on how transmasc people should dress, but since I often get the question, I've thought about it a bit. Will share some thoughts in this thread. 🧵

"AI work is just as good as human work" is a statement that *always* flows from the direction of power. Employers to workers, producers to consumers, but not the reverse.

Because it's not a thing people actually believe, but an argument: slop is good enough for you; you are slop.

@georgemonbiot.bsky.social raises an important question about the corruption of the justice system. Why was not one farmer arrested for blocking roads & bringing the whole country to a standstill? Climate protesters are in prison, farmers aren’t, why? What happened to equality under the law?

1. Stop assuming people announce all their activism on social media.

2. Stop demanding people announce all their activism on social media.

3. Stop deriding people for not announcing all their activism on social media.

4. Dunking on people on social media isn't activism and isn't praxis.

The DWP estimates fraud rates of PIP at 0.4%, with £23 billion of social security support unclaimed each year.

Any narrative claiming these cuts are about 'fiscal responsibility' are a red herring. They see Disabled people as the easiest to scapegoat for their policy failures.

Absolutely right.

Government is planning to strip vital support from a million disabled people – but they won’t even consider introducing a fair tax on the extremely wealthy, even though this would raise nearly 5 times more.

They urgently needs to rebalance their priorities ⚖️
Our current punitive welfare system has led to the deaths of hundreds of Disabled people at the hands of benefits cuts.

The Government not only refuses to fix this - but is placing us at risk of further punishment and surveillance.

Let us be clear: this is a political choice.

That would be good. People must keep up pressure. Visit your MP's surgery.

Must reverse the two child benefit cap, restore winter fuel payment to pensioners below the poverty line.

🤯 Labour are said to considering a plan for yet more cuts dubbed "Project Chainsaw".

🤔 Didn't Keir Starmer promise 'no more austerity'?

💚 The Green Party is clear - we can't afford more cuts. We would tax the super-rich fairly to help fund public services.
