David Attenborough is right, “if we continue on our current path, we will face the collapse of everything.” We know what we need to do, it’s the corruption & lies of the fossil fuel companies & our leaders that makes extinction more likely. We need zero emissions within 5yrs!

Do these companies think they'll somehow survive and thrive in a rapidly changing world by just pretending the climate crisis and the societal transitions that go with it don't exist?

As Mark Carney said in 2019, "Companies that don't adapt will go bankrupt, without question"
Apple has quietly dropped environmental metrics for executive pay, reports @benelgin.bsky.social, following similar moves by Salesforce, Starbucks and other big companies. "If something isn't reflected in compensation, it rarely gets sustained attention at the leadership level." Gift link:

They want to torch our human rights framework AND repeal our right to protection from discrimination.

Brought me to tears, what an amazing & lovely woman.
Shame on men who abuse and shame on men who hear of it & fail to call it out. And shame on our whole system of justice & the demonstrable failure of its perverse public schoolboy members to give women, justice. Equality under the law is a myth!

Dear UK media,
If you’re going to fall for Farage’s every cry for attention, FFS, be ready with the facts that show that, not only is he peddling anti-immigrant sentiment/racism for votes, but he’s lying about the stats too.
It’s dangerous and dishonest.
Please say so.
Thanks
A v tired-of-this, UK
Farage is clearly misleading the public.

The main reason that net migration fell by 445,000 (year to June 2025 it was 205k, having been 649k a year before) is that immigration fell by 401,000.

The BBC should fact-check/verify and report that this was untrue.
