David Attenborough is right, “if we continue on our current path, we will face the collapse of everything.” We know what we need to do, it’s the corruption & lies of the fossil fuel companies & our leaders that makes extinction more likely. We need zero emissions within 5yrs!

The problem with pinning our hopes on nature to clean up our emissions is that the more the planet heats, the less it's able to do so

We can't plant our way out of this. We need to stop burning stuff
The land and ocean CO₂ sink are 25% and 7% smaller, respectively, than they would have been without the effects of climate change and variability, on average for the 2015-2024 period.

Combined, this is equivalent to the total sink (land and ocean) being nearly 20% smaller than otherwise.

What on earth was the reason for the 3 line whip to vote this down? The Labour party supported the swift brick amendment when it was tabled on Conservative government legislation in 2023. Why has it gone from supporting swift bricks in opposition to imposing a 3 line whip to block them in government
In 2023, the Labour party supported mandating swift bricks, whipping FOR the swifts brick amendment. 2 years later, the same Ministers in charge of Housing put a 3 line whip (the most extreme block) AGAINST swift bricks. Listen to the strength of support in this powerful speech.

I used to be hugely in favour of the BBC. But Palestine, Brexit, Climate & Reform etc has made me realise it’s a tool for propaganda & as such it’s past time for it to go. Whilst I accept that it’s meant to be impartial it clearly isn’t & sadly it doesn’t broadcast the truth.

We need emissions to be reducing by at least 7% per annum to keep warming below 2°C & 2° sees the death of coral & therefore 25% of the marine life dependant on it. There was a scientific reason for the 1.5° agreed in Paris, Oils & money obviously trumps the science & our lives.

We’ve seen some proper turds from the BBC. Saville opened the sewer & now it’s mutated into a propaganda machine of the right. Impartiality disappeared well before Gaza but supporting genocide made the BBC look bad & highlights its biased pro Israel & genocide stance. Truth has Brexited the BBC!

Everyone should follow this account to see the reality of climate murder. If you look closely at the scientists behind the Tyndall Centre, it’s clear that they provide accurate, educated & up to date information. I highly recommend reading the slides, do it on the toilet just in case you 💩 yourself!

The State of the Climate Report 2025 makes it as clear as day. Therefore there’s only one reason why the emissions target isn’t close to reducing warming or pollution to sustainable levels. 1990 had 22.7GtCO2. That target’s a policy for death, ruin, collapse & a heap of 💩 for life itself. I despair!

Yes, it's a moral failure to allow fossil fuel pollution and fail to switch to clean energy.

And a criminal failure b/c it is enabled by disinformation, fraud, and negligence.

And a financial failure b/c WE are paying TRILLIONS in damage so fossil fuel companies can make billions in profits. 💸💸💸

November 6th & it was 17°C. The climate’s changed massively in my 60 years, CO2’s risen 34% from 315 to 423ppm. It always used to be cold in November when I was a kid, yesterday I could’ve worn shorts & a tee shirt. What the fuck’s it going to be like for my 20yr old kids? Dire!

But this govt is clamping down on our protest rights with increasingly authoritarian laws
