America has 925 billionaires as of this year. Collectively they have a record $6.9 trillion in wealth.

The bottom 50% of Americans control $4.2 trillion in wealth.

When 925 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

How many times does this guy have to essentially say, “I need to be our dictator” for people to wake up and finally take him at his word?
Trump: "We have to be unified. China is unified because they have one vote -- that's President Xi. He says 'do it' and that's the end of that. We have a different system."

Holy shit. When you think Jeffries couldn’t go any lower…. He’s unfit to serve and needs to resign. A perfect example of the “the Democratic Party is controlled opposition designed to fail”. Jeffries serves only the corporate interests that fund him.
Jeffries claims the charges against Cueller were "very thin" and says Trump's pardon was "exactly the right outcome"

Drugs are not weapons.

Drug traffickers are not terrorists.

The US wasn't attacked.

Boats on open water far from US coasts aren't a security threat.

There is absolutely no argument for self-defense in Caribbean boat strikes, nor in possible war with Venezuela.

This campaign is lies upon lies.
This is fundamentally the wrong way to deal with drug problems.

The campaign is built on lies.
The White House's lies about the illegal Caribbean boat strikes are so obvious and about such serious matters that they're floundering.

As @gregsargent.bsky.social and @jenrubin.bsky.social explain, specific strikes are criminal, but even more so, the entire campaign is blatantly illegal and wrong.

There is a special place in hell reserved for DHS personnel and local cops who aided and abetted this abuse. Once again, there is no bottom with these depraved monsters.
Emmanuel, a 15-year-old with intellectual disabilities, wandered away from his mom’s fruit stand in October.

She reported him missing to Houston police. But instead of reuniting them, the city turned him over to ICE.

“They’re failing all of us,” his mom said.

- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."

And just like that party leadership folds. We are absolutely cooked. If the leadership thinks Americans will give the party credit in December to pass an ACA extension, then they’re far more delusional than right now. The Democratic Party sold the American people out, and they won’t forget it.
Chris Murphy: "There will be pretty substantial damage to a Dem brand that has been rehabilitated if on the heels of an election in which the people told us to keep fighting, we immediately stop... if we surrender without having gotten anything, I worry it'll be hard to get them back up off the mat"

This is the asymmetry in our politics and media. If this was the other way around, Biden had pardoned someone then charged with trying to kill Trump, it would be the biggest story in America and every Republican commentator, congressman, news outlet, would be screaming about it in unison.
