without birthright citizenship in the united states, you don't have a democracy and you don't have rule of law.

revoking birthright citizenship gives fascists free rein to purge the country of literally anyone they don't like. it opens the door to atrocities and mass murder. i am not exaggerating.

I got to know Quinta when we were both working at BuzzFeed and she has always been wonderful, bold and fierce. And kind. She inspired me to think bigger about what I wanted for myself and others. It means so much to her escalate her vision.

The Batman Deadpool book out today is a pure-ass JOY and Grant Morrison and Dan Mora bring the absolutely genius.

I liked the first one a lot. This one is even better.

I know everyone uses social media differently. But during this time of rising fascism, if you have a platform, I'd ask that you pick at least one thing you care about & understand & share practical ways your followers can make a difference in fighting for it. If there ever was a time, this is it.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

India Action News shows make all other action news shows look like a bunch of chumps. I now know where the Fast movies steal all their shit from. If you’ve seen it in one of the 9 movies, chances are it happened in real life in India first.

I read The Last American before bed last night. I needed another reason bar my 3 year old to have disturbed sleep. Absolutely nuclear war paranoia period piece, redolent of all of that. A showcase for a later period Mick McMahon, classic 2000AD's most vivid stylist, inching ever more abstract.
