Mr President sir they say the aspirin is making you stronger and you should take more of it
Trump admits to taking more aspirin than his docs recommend: “They say aspirin is good for thinning out the blood, and I don’t want thick blood pouring through my heart. I want nice, thin blood pouring through my heart. Does that make sense?”

What could possibly go wrong! (2/6)

Terrible people advocating for terrible things is a given, that’s not what interests me. What I find remarkable is that every “College Conservative” or whatever either looks like they are 45 or 12. No in between.
on the one hand this does seem like the inevitable outcome of giving hundreds of thousands of dollars to a self-selecting group of the most anti-social and self-regarding entitled assholes in an already entitled and assholic population

on the other hand it’s still pretty shocking

Gonna go out on a limb here and say most people do not want to get an email with 7-8 bullet point questions about something they sent earlier right in the middle of dinner. That shit will ruin your day man

My favorite thing is when I see an article about cybercrime and it’s always accompanied by an illustration of a faceless person in a hoodie in a dark room. Like yeah guys, sure. If I were a cybercriminal I’d be doing that shit from the beach, man

What is tech innovation besides coming up with ideas for things that already exist?

Well it took 48 hours after the election but I finally got a fundraising email mail from some bullshit PAC. Amazing that they still think this is the way to go.

I think this used to be true, but the more we have fetishized STEM to the exclusion of a more broad education, the less true it is today. Today’s college degrees are narrow specializations, and the results are people who think everything can be explained with an algorithm.
The older I get the more I value conscientiousness over raw intelligence or anything like that — when someone has completed college that’s a stronger signal of being able to handle tasks in an independent environment on a consistent basis: www.wsj.com/business/pal...

That's right. They vote based on vibes and who they think is culturally more like themselves. For a lot of working class voters, that used to be Democrats. Not so much now.
It’s not “controversial,” it’s just wrong. People don’t vote for policy position papers

I know that the answer to the question “should Donald Trump be impeached” is “yes, obviously” but apparently it’s so obvious that no one bothers to ask anyone in congress that question? We should be asking our reps every single day why they haven’t done anything yet.

Pointing out that your opinions are dumb is not censorship?? If you feel compelled to shut up now, then perhaps what you said didn’t actually have and merit to begin with.
Oooooeeee there are a lot of people with gags in their hands on this site. Used to be a nice open space for idea exchange.
