At my doctor's office, waiting to get released for work. The day started with my coffee still on the roof of my car as I drove off. Hoping that's not a harbinger of bad shit headed my way.

Been off work since 12/5 with a sprained knee. I want to go back, honestly. My route is going to be a freaking mess. But I also know the very first thing I'll say to myself is, "I hate my job."

So, I just realized I never told you about my accident. I stepped on a steel plate covering a catch basin, but it wasn't seated properly and my left leg went into the pit. Sprained my left knee, ripped up my right shin, off work since 12/5. Hoping to go back to work this Friday.
