The term "Trump Derangement Syndrome" is used by his supporters to attack anyone who criticizes him. But there is a tiny element of truth to the term, as too many critics of Trump will uncritically share anything that makes him look bad. This is a bad strategy, as it legitimizes his blatant lying.
To people spreading pictures of that Italian translator looking at Trump, implying she's judging him: No she doesn't. It's just how she looks when she concentrates.
Sure the meme is fun, but it makes her profession political which hurts her and other translators.

One of the biggest lessons from Syria is that, just a month ago, almost no one could have predicted the Assad regime would fall today. The "realities on the ground" crowd would have denied such a possibility. A reminder of why people in Ukraine fight rather than surrender.

I really hope Europe will step up. Even though the US withdraw their direct support, hopefully Europe would still get permissions to buy what is needed.
One main issue is whether Europe is able to agree on how to proceed, or if the result will be a lot of talk, grave concerns and paralysis.
