US Treasury Secretary Bessent confirmed: “We are going to either announce after the close this afternoon or first thing tomorrow morning, a substantial pickup in Russia sanctions.”

More pressure is finally coming?
The US Treasury has imposed sanctions on Rosneft and Lukoil, including 34 of their subsidiaries. Shortly after, US President Trump posted the list of sanctioned Russian oil companies on his social platform.

A series of explosions hit Ryazan overnight, with drones targeting the local oil refinery and Dyagilevo airbase. A massive blaze broke out near the catalytic cracking or hydrocracking unit, part of a refinery producing 12–13M tons annually. Some sources say "Peklo" missile-drones were used.
