Please, I'm begging, literally anyone report this correctly

Grok spread propaganda after someone intentionally inserted it into the system prompt - this is the same as if MS stuck "Halo is the best game" in all of your Bing searches without your permission

Saying "code" here is not right

Kind of amazing how nakedly dishonest are Wes Streeting's lot when it comes to suppressing data on young people taking their own lives in consequence of the withdrawal of gender affirming care. 🤯🧵

Voting isn’t about signaling! It’s not about finding shared interests, it’s not about finding your group, and your group is *not represented* if the candidate who shares your views loses the election.

Voting is about winning.

“Clown in a Cornfield's final act elevates the film to something more than a dumb slasher as it reflects on the bitterness in contemporary society born of the cruelty and violence emblematic of the MAGA era.”

Clown in a Cornfield blends classic slasher tropes with solid acting, writing and social commentary
Blurring the line between comedy and horror, Clown in a Cornfield subverts slasher genre to create a smart and entertaining movie

Recent research shows that AI can durably reduce belief in conspiracies. But does this work b/c the AI is good at producing evidence, or b/c ppl really trust AI?

In a new working paper, we show that the effect persists even if the person thinks they're talking to a human: osf.io/preprints/ps...

The debate around GenAI and specifically around LLMs is interesting to watch.

A lot of people seem to be clustering towards one pole or the other ("LLMs are categorically evil" vs. "LLMs are the future of everything") — which is interesting because there's a huge middle ground to explore.

so, so much of what people rightly hate about "tech" has nothing to do with technology and everything to do with the pathologies of venture capital outlined in this thread
the thing about VCs is that they don't want the companies they invest in to succeed, necessarily. They want them to either grow rapidly and massively or fail quickly. Slowly building a market? Growing stably and sustainably? These things fuck up the VC business model and are anathema.
Then he discusses when to stop blitzscaling. Looks at companies that got big fast through blitzscaling (Groupon), but then the technique stopped working & they cratered. So, uh, in hindsight, they should have stopped doing it.

Take big risks with your business. But only ones that work out. Got it.👍

KOSA is being reintroduced today.

It's always been a dangerous censorship bill.

But in this environment, with Trump weaponizing every aspect of the Federal government to suppress speech he doesn't like, KOSA is a catastrophic attack on human rights.

We have to stop it.

KOSA is a censorship bill that won’t make kids safe. Instead, it'll put all internet users at risk, especially youth. If you believe in a free and open internet, tell your lawmakers to reject #KOSA!

Literally every response I've had to this question thus far.
If you just say the words "grassroots movements" as an alternative without actually pointing to these movements to engage EVEN WHEN ASKED, then these words are performative and meaningless.
This is my problem with "don't bother voting".
