mRNA tech is some of the coolest, most powerful, most promising scifi shit humans are currently doing. They are being investigated to help with cancers, autoimmune diseases, M.S., stroke recovery, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, and high cholesterol.

There was a time you couldn't compare consoles by their AMD GPU memory bandwidth. They were fundamentally different visions of how you even write software. Of what the future would be. And they got it wrong. Until the convergence. Things were special until they weren't.

"yes, hello. We may have free speeched our way into a fascist dictatorship where Christian nationalists & far-right grifters have eroded the rights of women, LGBTQ+, immigrants and politician dissidents , but we're really like to pitch you on our idea of free speech" lol, no thanks. You can keep it.

Saying that "autism is preventable" is essentially saying that autistic people should not be born.

It's a eugenicist claim.

I had a meeting with my VP last year and I communicated how I sometimes felt like I was not being bold enough and I just wanted to understand I had their support.

They told me, to the effect, our job is to operate understanding things are going to break doing nothing.

We should be doing something.

Video of the international student at Tufts being arrested by "federal authorities" in Massachusetts has been released and it's terrifying.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.

My silly little #twitch integration got a bit of an overhaul via #Cursor, which has been proving to be a useful tool of late. #AI isn't a replacement for solid engineering practices or experience, but it very much pairs well with them.

I can't say I particularly enjoyed help desk, though I may have enjoyed it a little more if I'd been diagnosed with ADHD earlier. However the experiences I gained during those years have proven to be invaluable in my roles since.
Please imagine life outside the cybersecurity pipeline. I beg of you. Living is its own job experience. You can't follow my path, but I did Helpdesk for 10 years. I thought it was a shame. And now I'm proud of it and advertise. I didn't have the perspective to know what it gave me.
You don't either.

This may sound sappy but this is the gist of what "technology connections" are.

Most everyday machines work on pretty basic concepts. They're designed to be convenient to use and effective, but when you understand the concepts through which they work you can adapt those concepts to new problems!

1. I get served an unintentionally hilarious video on Instagram of someone claiming that giving birth with dolphins ensures there is no pain in childbirth and your kid will have a 150 IQ.
2. I google to see where this theory comes from.
3. I get served an AI answer with this amazing sentence.

This is why I turn off all autoplay and do not swipe up video after video. I want to be in the loop, as growing up undiagnosed ADHD meant I spent enough of my time with my attention outside of my control.
