These utter doofuses.

No matter how far Trump falls I have little hope cause the idiots are still in charge on the other side.

Why does Chuck Schumer still have his job btw?

Dem Leaders Decide to Bury Damning Report on Why Trump Won in 2024
The Democratic National Committee has completed its long-awaited analysis on what went wrong in the 2024 campaign. But in a move that will attract intense criticism, it’s keeping the findings secret.

OMG Zohran said what I've been saying for years!

I'm like rigorously no TSA pre on the view that I won't pay someone to give me my rights back.
Zohran: "I mean, think about when you fly.  We have made it such a difficult experience to go through TSA that there's now a financial incentive to sign up for a separate program that can move you through it quicker. We have monetized the dysfunction."

FUCK RONALD REAGAN.

FUCK GAVIN NEWSOM.
The presidency once served as a reminder of our common humanity. Ronald Reagan described its purpose as building "a nation composed of good and decent people."

I'm sure everyone will be talking about the vaguely negative things Susie Wiles says about Trump and co. But to me the headline is yet another supposed Trump whisperer living in denial of who he actually is. "he won't run again" "he doesn't want war" "the troop deployments are temporary"

Thinking of the kids at Brown. It shouldn’t matter but there’s no denying a shooting hits a bit harder if it’s a community you were part of for a time in your life.

In the long run I don't see how OpenAI or Anthropic compete with FAANG. The Gemini 3 release feels like the moment Internet Explorer 3.0 caught up with Navigator and anyone could see the writing was on the wall for Netscape.

Didn't stop their IPO though. Live your best investing life, I guess.

Except here Archie Bunker has the entire US Federal branch at his disposal to make his gutter racist fantasies come true.

I mean you might be surprised that NYT finally got the balls to call it bigotry, but having watched the clip our presidents words were pretty hard to distinguish from something that would have come out of Archie Bunker's mouth.
NYT: “.. Even for Mr. Trump — who has a long history of insulting Black people, particularly those from African countries — his outburst was shocking in its unapologetic bigotry.”

It's wild that I now miss the drugged out drum circles that used to define cringe in the bay area. By comparison they seem like highly authentic artistic endeavors.

Remember when that head of a big Russian mercenary company turned on Putin, but then he backed off and was killed mysteriously in a plane crash a couple months later?

Anyway, thinking of Marjorie Taylor Green this evening.

Who's feeding Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski a pie made out of the flesh of Maureen Dowd?
Shout out to all the Big Law Firms, certain Democrats, and all the elite institutions who were rushing to bend their knees back in January/February this year. We didn’t forget.

I mean can we hold the "welcome to the resistance MTG" posts for a day? Her resignation video alone contained three to five blatantly transphobic parts, plus several racisms. Just till Monday guys then you can publish the "Is Marjorie Taylor Green the Future of the Democratic Party?" opinion pieces.

Ok I get the Vatican is on a "cool Popes" run but this is a bit much.
He said "Amen" straight into the drop

Lmao Pope Leo threw a rave for an archbishop's 75th birthday this is kind of incredible

Very excited for an epstein revelations arms race between Democrats and Republicans that ends with every powerful creepster who hung out with him permanently banned from public life.

Larry Summers? Bill Clinton? Peter Thiel? Steve Bannon? All in trouble? Please, don't threaten me with a good time.

Probably the top plank of Project 2029 SHOULD be to retire the generation of shitty, powerful white guys who've called the shots on the Democratic Party for way too long.
NEW: Before the recent Epstein disclosures, Larry Summers was poised to lead the economic policy plank for the Democrats' "Project 2029" effort at the Center for American Progress. He signed off on a housing policy paper CAP was prepping for next week.

BREAKING: After months of stonewalling by Starbucks, unionized baristas just voted 92% to authorize a ULP strike unless Starbucks finalizes fair contracts & stops union busting.

If forced, our baristas will strike in dozens of cities on November 13 – the company's busiest sales day of the year.
Starbucks unionized workers say they'll strike on Nov. 13 if coffee giant doesn't finalize contract
Union members say they are ready to strike on the chain's Red Cup Day if Starbucks doesn't finalize a contract with their union by then.

It's wild that it only takes one senator to call a vote on Schumer and none of them will do it. @sanders.senate.gov ? nope. @warren.senate.gov ? nope. @edmarkey.bsky.social ? nope. @vanhollen.senate.gov ? nope.

Our faves are complicit. @aoc.bsky.social is silent too.

I broadly agree but efforts to change the democratic party have stalled out as many times as starting a new one. Jessie Jackson tried to do it in the 80’s even. We have to contend realistically with the forces lined up against us. Probably mass internal efforts at the most local levels to start.
“Rather than taking over the Democratic Party the same way the right took over the Republican Party, we should take the easier route and just start up a new party ourselves!”

I’m about to fill my pockets with stones and walk into the sea.
November 10, 2025 at 9:09 PM
Fuck you
Health care isn’t negotiable.

We need to both reopen the government and work together to protect access to affordable health care by extending the ACA enhanced premium tax credits.
November 10, 2025 at 2:07 AM
Look, fuck Trump for firing employees and kicking people off food stamps just cause he's cruel and he could.

But double fuck the Democrats if they let him do all that and caved for nothing in return. Why the fuck did we put people through all that pain? It's disgusting and shameful.

Why has the government been closed at all if Senate Dems cave now? Didn't they say that they could not go along with throwing millions of people off health care?

What's materially changed? A *promise* is not action. ALSO fascists lie and I've been told by some Senate Dems that the GOP is fascist.
