Bit of a personal question, but!
What song reminds you the most of what it’s like to have sex?
(For me, it’s My Bloody Valentine’s “To Here Knows When”)

When I was in high school, the last game of our senior year, our coach miscounted the number of timeouts the other team had. So we kneeled the ball down three times thinking it was the end of the game, then punted on fourth down. The other team returned the punt for a touchdown and won.

From burning castles to swords and magic and velvet gowns, medievalism has taken over 21st century pop culture.

This is why this surrender isn't just about this narrow issue but is rather the whole constitutional ballgame:
Democrats are affirmatively signaling they do not want political power at the same time Trump is transitioning the political system into an autocratic one wherein they're denied it forever

Not that he didn’t already know, but now Trump knows for sure he can roll the Dems every time and there’s no need to negotiate for anything

I truly don’t know how you look at the past week and THEN decide THIS is an appropriate — let alone the right — response.
Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

I'm legitimately confused about the play here. No person who now is going to go without coverage in the ACA is going to just blame the GOP. They will rightly blame the Democrats too. Dems won't get "points" for "fighting" if they cave. It makes little sense.
