Our government is being run by random right-wing and far-right influencers on Twitter, many of whom are anonymous, many of whom are not who they say they are
SCOOP: Elon's favorite anon data expert, who's been appearing on NewsNation in sunglasses, isn't a govt. spending expert but rather a senior employee at an AI lending firm that's battled the CFPB for years.

we haven't even got to the anti-vax stuff yet!

they are acting like they will never face political consequences again.

it's a delusion that ignores their House majority is only 2 fucking seats
they're breaking complex, interdependent chains they don't even realize exist, and every second something stays broken is another second the average american will get angrier about it, because the average american is the one who is going to be taking it in the gut
Yeah this. I think things will get unpleasant and path dependency of their decisions now will hang over them for the rest of the term

this isn't true, you moron. look up FDR's secret aid to the Spanish Republic or the lend-lease programs or the sanctions against the Japanese Empire
That would be nice wouldn't it, if it was true....

I feel like so many political issues are more complicated than they seem or have trade-offs that can be tricky. So it can be hard to find a solution that is 100% correct.

But not this.

We need to build more housing.

This is the law of supply and demand.
